Encaustic painting involves combining melted beeswax and damar resin crystals (to impart hardness) with pigment. Applied layer upon layer (each heated and cooled), it provides a unique creative canvas for collage and texture. My encaustics are primarily two-dimensional pieces on archival, multi-layered wood panels, ready to be hung. Most current works range in size from 5" x 5" to 10" x 10" and range in price from $200 -$500.
